invite you to take part in III “TransCont” conference which will be held on the 19th of October 2020, Moscow, “InfoSpace” congress-hall.
Russian ports’ container turnover at the end of 2019 amounted to 5.32 million TEU which is 4.8% higher than in 2018. At the same time the container turnover growth rate steadily decreased from January-July of this year (from 5.6%) and by the end of the year reached a minimum value of 4.8%. According to the results of 2018 the container handling growth was 9.8%, in 2017-15.5%.
Import containers transshipment for the reporting period increased by 5.6% to 2.25 million TEU (transshipment of loaded containers increased by 4%, empty containers – 35.2%). Export containers were handled by 4.1% more – 2.19 million TEU (loaded containers were handled by 6.1% more).
What are the forecasts for 2020? Will the container handling growth rate’s decline continue? How will the sale of “TransContainer” affect the Russian market? Are the plans of container transport along the Northern Sea route realistic? During the “TransCont 2020” conference we will discuss these and other issues connected with the Russian container transport market development prospects and limiting factors.
Last year more than 120 delegates form Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Estonia gathered in Saint-Petersburg to discuss the branch prospects. This year conference for the first time will be held in Moscow and we expect even greater interest.
Conference participation provides unique opportunity to get practical information about the latest trends in the container transport market, listen to the recommendations of experts, leading analysts and representatives of the executive authorities.
